Terms of Service
These terms explain how you can use MarginMole.
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. What MarginMole does
MarginMole is a resale research tool that helps users scan marketplace-style listings, estimate possible resale profit, save deals, create Deal Monitors, run Deal Alerts and export saved deal data where available.
MarginMole does not buy, sell, own, inspect or guarantee any item shown in the app. You are responsible for checking each listing yourself before making a purchase.
2. No guaranteed profit
Profit estimates, Mole Scores, resale prices, fees, postage estimates, risk levels and alerts are only estimates. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
You should check recent sold listings, item condition, authenticity, seller feedback, postage cost, platform fees and demand before buying anything.
MarginMole is not financial advice, business advice, investment advice or a guarantee that you will make money.
3. Marketplace listings and third-party websites
MarginMole may link to third-party websites such as eBay. Those websites have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, rules and buyer protection processes.
We are not responsible for listings, sellers, prices, delivery, refunds, item condition, authenticity, cancelled orders, account restrictions or losses caused by third-party websites.
MarginMole is not endorsed by, sponsored by or officially affiliated with eBay unless this is clearly stated in the app.
4. Plans, limits and paid features
MarginMole may offer Free, Pro, Reseller and Admin plans. Plan features may include scan limits, saved deal limits, Deal Monitor limits, Deal Alerts, reduced ads, no ads, CSV export and other tools.
Free plan limits may include 3 eBay scans per day, 3 saved deals and 1 Deal Monitor. Pro and Reseller features may change as the service develops.
Paid subscriptions, when enabled, will be handled by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe. You should review the checkout page carefully before paying.
We may change prices, features and limits in the future. If a change affects an active paid plan, we will try to give reasonable notice where practical.
5. Fair use
You must not use MarginMole in a way that damages, overloads, disrupts or abuses the service.
You must not attempt to bypass plan limits, scrape the app, reverse engineer private systems, attack the service, upload malicious code or use MarginMole for unlawful activity.
Unlimited or fair-use features are still subject to reasonable usage controls to protect the service, users and third-party APIs.
6. Your account and data
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure if accounts are enabled.
You should make sure saved deals, exports and notes do not contain sensitive information that you do not want stored or downloaded.
More information about how data is handled is available in the Privacy Policy.
7. Ads and affiliate links
Free users may see advertising. Some links may become affiliate links in the future, meaning MarginMole may earn a commission if you click or buy through those links.
Advertising or affiliate income does not guarantee that a listing is safe, profitable or suitable for you.
8. Intellectual property
The MarginMole name, design, scoring system, layout, code, branding, text and app content belong to MarginMole or its creators unless stated otherwise.
You may use the app for your own resale research, but you must not copy, resell or redistribute the service as your own product.
9. Availability and changes
MarginMole may be updated, paused, changed or removed at any time. Features may be experimental, especially while the app is in MVP or beta stage.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device, browser or marketplace.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, MarginMole is not responsible for lost profits, failed flips, incorrect estimates, bad purchases, marketplace bans, seller disputes, delivery issues, data loss or indirect losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as MarginMole develops. The latest version will be shown on this page with the updated date.
By continuing to use MarginMole after changes are made, you agree to the updated terms.
